Different types of honey
The taste of each honey is unique – like sticky and sweet fingerprints, no two are exactly alike! It all depends on which flowers the bees have visited and collected nectar from.
And when enough nectar is sourced from just one species of flower, the resulting honey has a very distinct flavour indeed.
Our premium single-source honeys each offer a delicious flavour born from Australia’s diverse native flora and sourced from our network of over 600 beekeeping families. Each type of honey is sourced from select regions across Australia, with some only harvested once a season. Now that’s premium!
Where is Capilano Premium Single-Source Honey sourced?

Grey Ironbark HoneyMajestic Grey Ironbarks flourish along the Great Dividing Range to the coastal plains of South East Queensland. Their distinctive blossoms yield one of the best honeys in Australia. Light in colour and with a lingering sweet character, we love Ironbark honey drizzled over ice cream or in milkshakes. It also makes the perfect glaze for honey carrots or honey prawns.Sizes: 340g
Blue Gum HoneyOur bees collect nectar from Blue Gum tree blossoms which bloom around the Clare Valley and all the way to the South East regions of South Australia to produce our light, delicately sweet Blue Gum honey. This premium honey is renowned for its pleasing aroma and smooth, distinctive flavour that lingers. We love this honey in baking or as a natural sweetener in tea and coffee.Sizes: 340g
Macadamia HoneyFrom the Macadamia nut farms in the Northern Rivers of NSW and the Wide Bay Region in QLD comes this unique tasting, mild flavoured honey.
