Where is Capilano Organic honey sourced?
Our organic honey is sourced from Certified Organic beekeepers.
This 100% pure Australian honey comes from bees that have foraged various eucalyptus trees in pristine national parks and forest regions, such as the coastal ranges of Northern New South Wales.
Our Certified Organic honey sold in WA is sourced from wild forest reserves of the South West and desert areas of Western Australia.
How can I be sure your honey is organic?
Every drop of our organic honey is independently Certified Organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO), the local independent certifying body for organic products.
ACO audit organisations such as Capilano Honey to ensure the Australian organic standard for honey is complied with. For a product to be labelled as organic, it must be sourced solely from Certified Organic beekeepers and packaged according to organic standards.
Organic standards specify source of the nectar, foraging area, bees management, honey extracting process, transportation, processing temperature and packaging materials. We guarantee our Certified Organic honey is only sourced from hives with a 5km pesticide exclusion radius.
