Honey Baked Pears
Developed by Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist, Joel Feren, featuring our aromatic Raw Unfiltered Orange Blossom honey.
4 Corella pears, halved, cored
1/3 cup Capilano orange blossom honey, warmed
1/4 cup water
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp. butter, melted
Pinch of nutmeg
Greek yoghurt, to serve
Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Combine honey, water, butter and nutmeg in a roasting dish.
Add pears, skin side up and cinnamon sticks to dish. Baste with syrup and cover with foil.
Roast for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and flip pears (skin side down) and roast for further 20 minutes, or until pears are caramelised and tender.
Serve with Greek yoghurt.
