Manuka Honey & Almond Nougat Bar
This simple, easy and delicious recipe from @noashealthyeats is the perfect tasty treat to satisfy those occasional cravings!
2tbs maple syrup
1/2 cup of almond butter 110-120g
1 scoop of vanilla protein / or almond meal 40g
1/3 cup rice puffs -optional
1 block of chocolate 100g
In a large heat proof bowl add your honey, maple and almond butter & place in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir until completely combined and add 1 tsp of vanilla extract, than add in your protein and combine with a spatula.
Press your mix into a liner loaf tin, and optional press some rice puffs into the top with a spatula.
Place in the freezer for 1 hr. Melt your chocolate in another small microwave safe bowl or on the stove. Once chocolate is runny cut your slice into bars , this recipe got approx. 12-14 bars. Coat your bars in the chocolate and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
